Prior to the banks approval, Jenny Creek Mitigation Bank, Inc. was once part of an active cow-calf farm.

Prior to the banks approval, the property was forested and used for the occassional timber harvesting and recreational hunting.

Potato Creek Mitigation Bank is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Mitigation Bank Review Team (MBRT) approved mitigation bank located in the Upper Flint River Watershed in Lamar County, Georgia. Prior to the bank's approval, the 127-acre property was an active dairy farm that over time was degraded due to intense agricultural, ranching and dairy activities.

Oostanaula River Mitigation Bank is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Mitigation Bank Review Team (MBRT) approved mitigation bank in the Middle Chattahoochee watershed. The bank site, approximately 85 acres in size, was formerly in pasture and/or agricultural rotation.

Oostanaula River Mitigation Bank is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Mitigation Bank Review Team (MBRT) approved mitigation bank in the Oostanaula watershed. Before becoming a mitigation bank, Oostanaula was a 100-acre family farm for over 50 years. Over the years, the streams were channelized and wetlands were drained to accommodate farming activities. In order to enhance and preserve the family land in environmental stewardship, the family engaged Foxwater to create a mitigation bank.

ETOWAH

Etowah Mitigation Bank is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Mitigation Bank Review Team (MBRT) approved mitigation bank in the Etowah watershed. The restoration site is approximately 175 acres in size and lies adjacent to over one mile of the Etowah River . The Nature Conservancy has estimated that the Etowah River has more imperiled species (17 fish species and 16 invertebrate species) than any other river system of its size in the southeastern United States , thus restoration at this site would have secondary positive influence on the species. The restoration site was formally a row crop farm where some of the highest corn yield per acre was harvested.

Foxwater Announces Mitigation Credits Available in Upper Ocmulgee Watershed

Foxwater, LLC has completed the mitigation design and stream restoration of 86,000+ linear feet of free-flowing streams and accompanying reparian buffers along with 92 acres of wetland and upper buffers for the Little Sandy Creek Mitigation Bank. The mitigation bank is located in Butts County, Georgia in the Ocmulgee Watershed. The secondary service area for Nationwide and case-by-case Individual Permits is the Upper Oconee Watershed.
